A girl with a red veil is walking resolutely down the rue de Siam

One day in April 2007, as I was walking down the rue Avancée de la Porte Saint-Louis that goes around the Place de la Liberté, I saw a girl wearing a long red coat and a red veil storm out of rue Frédéric Le Guyader. Before I had time to realise she was there she was already stepping in rue de Siam, making a turn into a street nearby and disappearing from my horizon. It happened so fast that I was (and still am) wondering if I had not completely imagined that brief apparition.
